Prophetic Pause with Dr. K

“He said to them, “Make room, for the girl is not dead, but sleeping.” And they ridiculed Him.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭9‬:‭24‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

As I was reading today in Matthew 9, two simple words seemed to leap off the page and settle deeply in my spirit:

“Make Room.”

It was almost as if I could hear the Holy Spirit whispering, “Make room.”

Jesus entered the house where everyone had already concluded the situation was over. The atmosphere was filled with mourning, noise, and unbelief. Yet before He raised the little girl, He didn’t speak to her first He spoke to the room.

“Make room…”

That arrested me.

I sensed the Lord saying that He desires to work in us and through us, but many of us have lives so cluttered that there is little room for Him to move as He desires.

Our calendars are full.

Our minds are crowded.

Our hearts are carrying disappointments.

Our ears are filled with the opinions of others.

Our spirits have become occupied with worry, fear, distractions, and even yesterday’s victories.

Yet God is saying, “Make room.”

Make room for My presence.

Make room for My voice.

Make room for fresh revelation.

Make room for healing.

Make room for faith.

Make room for the new thing I desire to do.

Notice that Jesus addressed the atmosphere before He performed the miracle. Sometimes the miracle isn’t waiting on more prayer it’s waiting for us to remove whatever has been occupying the space where faith should live.

What voices need to leave your room? What distractions need to be laid aside? What old conclusions have you accepted that God is ready to shutdown!?

The people around Jesus laughed because they believed they knew the ending. But Heaven had already written a different story.

Perhaps what you’ve declared dead isn’t dead at all. Maybe it’s simply waiting for the touch of Jesus …

Today, I want to encourage you to make room.

Make room for God’s timing.

Make room for His presence.

Make room for His interruption.

Make room for His power.

Because when you make room for Jesus, He has a way of bringing life to what everyone else has given up on.

Prophetic Declaration:

I declare that every unnecessary distraction, every voice of unbelief, and every burden that has occupied your heart is being removed. I decree that you are making room for the presence, power, and purpose of God. May every dormant promise awaken, every delayed answer come into alignment, and every area that has seemed lifeless come alive by the touch of Jesus. This is your season to make room for what Heaven is releasing. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Remember… before God fills a room with His glory, He often asks us to make room for His presence.

Pause • Make Room • Discern • It’s Not Dead
